Ice hockey World Championships in Finland 1997

Of course there is a lot of pubs and discos in Abo that one can honour with a visit. Here are we somewhere god only knows where and is havin´ fun. On the pic is Johnny seen trying to wake up a tired finnish supporter.

We also found these two Norweigan fans inside this place. For Johnny and Gabbe it was great to see the chick again since they had first met her at the championships in 1994 in Italy. The girl claimed that they really had been partying at their hotel at that occation. Johnny and Gabbe only had vague memories of this. Gabbe did though remember that they were threatend by the owner of the hotel that he would call the Military-Police if they didn´t leave. Well, at least this norweigan girl thought that the "Pigs" had been nice and that it what really matters!

After a few days the commotion at the car improved a lot and people realised (those that were rookies) that it was with us that the real party starts.

The cops also came by. They must have wondered what kind of monkey-buissness we were up to. We just explained that we were getting in motion before the game and that we weren´t selling anything at all. Fredner - as usual - tried to give the policemen some of the homemade alcohol, but they weren´t interested at all.

At the Swedish section it is always where the the spirit is no top. Of course it is Fredner that gets people going as the true cheerleader he is. Here one can also see Johnny and "The German".

Gabbe and Johnny is talking to some canadian supporters. They looks to have fun at the jibberish from these two. This is acctually the first time that we can remember that we have ever met Canadian fans which is a little bit sad since they seem really nice.

Yes, we acctually eat food too at the championships even if one might think otherwise. It is also very uncommon that it is caught on a pic like this.

Gabbe is in the Hotel-bar waiting for beer. This was a location that was our starting-point for our partying during the championships in 1997. This was also the place where the swedish TV3 was at night since they stayed at the Hotel that was located above the bar.
