Down in the beerhall is Fredner relaxing.

To see Patrik with a beer in his hand is more unusual then meeting fans from the U.S. that isn´t up-nosed and antisocial. During this championship did we see both things. Thing are going in the right direction - absolutely!!!

Bergman clearly shows his disappointment with the beer that was served down in the beerhall. I am not exagurating if I say that it was amongst the worst stuff that I have tortured my body with for many, many years. We were for a long time wondering what kind of discusting "soup" it was that we were drinking. After some days romours started to circulate that the norwegians had mixed strong-beer with light-beer to make some strange kind of mix that tasted really awful! What we had to do was to smuggle in alcohol with Pepsi. That´s why Pepsi bottles are seen on some pics, don´t belive anything else!

Since it was time for the norwegians to become students during the championships the area was filled with these so called "Blackruss". And we can just report that they were just as good drinkers as any of us fans.

After two days did also one of Gab:s old working pals come by - Bengtsson - to Lillehammer together with his littlesister Julle (next to Gab) and one of her buddies. The things that Julle doesen´t know about hockeystatistics isn´t worth knowing.

Pernilla that we met for the first time in Zürich last year did also show up at the caravan. Down to the left is Bengtsson that we think held a very low profile during the first day in Lillehammer. But we can proudly report that he made it up the second day by drinking himself back to the ape-stage, slept on the floor in one of the hotel-rooms with only two handkerchiefs as cover WONDERFUL!!! You have realised what a World Championship in Ice hockey is all about. Bengtsson have applied for membership in Svea Svin and will be a member if he just shows up in St. Petersburg next year. Pernilla is a member in Svea Svin since she showed up at this championship.

Down in the village did we see this well shaped figure that we studied for a long while.

Here has our finnish friends obviously arrived at the skijumping tower in Lillehammer. From the left we have Jukka (FIN), Andrew (AUT) and John (N). This pic must have been taken early in the morning since it is not common to see these guys this sober and calm ;-)

Once back in the beerhall is Wiruz from Ruskiga Rojarna happy to see Svea Svin again. Leeeeet´s party!

It was an insaine motion going on down in the beerhall since the norwegians had a Hi-Fi that was going for full speed all the time. But the melody that we for ever will remember this championship with is the finnish hockey song "Ihanaa, leijonat, ihanaaa!". It was one of the best we have ever heard. A fast partysong that made the most tired of fans to just start to party like never before.
