Time for final!
Sweden against the ruling World Championships, Czechia. A dream opponent since we like the Czechs and their supporters so darn much. The pre partying outside the arena before the game had been great, but now it was time!
We were just as nervous as we had been when we were young and was standing outside the liquor store, too young to buy, and tried to convince some alcoholic from finland if he could buy a bottle.

Some of the pictures here speak for themselves and are therefore left without comments.

Jörgen and Pernilla has taken position up by the roof and are charged before the game starts.

Gabbe, Jessika, Jörgen and Tanja by rink side. Apparently Jörgen got tired of hardly seeing anything by the roof since he has joined.

Total partying and go in the Czech support group. There are few people that can party inside an arena like the Czechs.

Why so much sadness within the Czech supporters? No motion at all. Why is that?

Aah, 1:44 left of the third period and 4-0 to the Olympic Champions. Is looking good!

When the score is 4-0 in the third period one dance. Gabbe, Lövis, Jessika and Pernilla are having a great time down by the ice!

The mandatory countdown that everybody does when winning the Gold in Hockey. You know, that event that the finns never gets to do. All caught from rinkside.

The final second, Kenny Jönsson is raising the Gold cup, the handling out of medals. Larsa, Gabbe, Johnny, Pernilla and Lövis are seen at the end of the clip. We especially like that the commentator repeatedly is saying that Sweden is the World Champions. [4 min. 32 sec.]

And here are some pics of the aftermath as seen thorough a finnish mobile camera.

The national anthem of Sweden is played for the eight time in the hockey history during the World Championships.

The national anthem is “sung” as seen from rinkside. Gabbe and Johnny is freaking out at the end of the clip.

ONE MORE PICTURE OF THE FLAGS! It is so bloody nice to see so that one gets tears in the eyes. Especially when knowing that people in finland is sitting in front of their TV-sets and see that the Swedish flag, again, is in top after a hockey tournament. We mean, it was over three months since last time.
