Time for Sweden’s last game in Innsbruck. SWE-SUI. Nothing to do but to open the bottles and start waiving in the noise machine.

Cheers and thanks for last night. Munken starts, as normal, the day with a big beer inside the local (very local) cafeteria that was located right next to our car.

Down at the beer tent we meet Lilleman and Barklund. The strategy is planned about how much we shall drink, how drunk we are expected to get and who we are going to meet. Loud discussions while the beer was being drunk.

Of course also other supporters notice where the pre party is. Here have some Swedish guys appeared joined. Of course we a re giving away free beers and alcohol plus facial paint for those that wants to.

Painting the members of “House car 2005”. First Munken and then Gabbe.

Of course we painted each other directly on the road while the hockey music was screaming from the loudspeakers. People were staring and the cars were blowing in their horns, but we couldn’t care less.

Patrik had his own variant on how to sit while painting. It’s doubtful if Nilses was as pleased with sitting in this homoerotic position. But if you want to look nice, you will have to work for it.

Munken decided as can be seen to cheer for team Sweden during the game against Switzerland. He and Barklund is relaxing in the sun.

Lövis, Gabbe and Barklund are ready for game.

Nilses was to get dressed in the Swedish army uniform from the 1700:th century. Time to get dressed in other words.

Looking nice…

Ready for party!!!

Time to once again go to the arena. Lilleman is inspecting the noise machine and Nilses is making sure that tha drum works and the head is spinning.

OH SHIT!!! Too much banging on the drum can make the sticks goes to hell. We simply had to try and get hold of a music shop.

A quite happy taxi driver after not having been robbed or beaten of this, what appears to be, savage that looks like a cross dresser on acid.

But Nilses is happy about the new drumsticks and that is the whole point. “Now goddamnit, I am gonna drum Sweden to victory” he shouted repeatedly during the trip back to the car.

Once back at the car Munken has once again managed to get hold of one of these terrible paper helmets that the Skoda-people were handing out to each and everyone. Just as good also to get a Kebab-special so that one has the strength to drink during the rest of the day (and night)

Even the Kebab-girls thought that it looked like shit and was quite disgusting to walk around with Kebab in the wig so Munken had to have it cut. Considering the state he was in, we think that it was good that he was helped with cutting his hair.

Inside the tent Munken, Lövis and Lilleman gets the Swiss supporters in the right mood. An incredible party feeling with tons of supporters from both countries made the tent transform into a true party palace!

Pictures taken from on top of one of the tables towards the stage that shows (hopefully) the incredible mood that we had inside the tent.

Nilses on Lillemans shoulders forcing down Vodka and drumming like there’s no tomorrow. Barklund is accompanying on tambourine.

This Swiss trumpet guy that made sure that the tent continued to be the boiling pot it had been for the last hours.

Overlooking a small part of the party area outside the beer tent.

And then we drum again!!! Just as good so that the party don’t come to a halt.

Just as good to ease the thirst, and what can be better than lots and lots of Alcohol. We said Lots of it! Nilses is one of the many thirsty ones this wonderful summer evening.

And then it’s time to beat the drum again. BANG, BANG, BANG. BANGBANGBANG, BANG, BANG!!!

SWEEEEEEEEEDEEEEENNNN!!! Very good motion at one of the Vodka tables.

Time for game. Gabbe, Lövis and Munken has taken position together with the banner for best explosion on TV.

1-1 so far. Sweden was later to win the game with 2-1 after a goal made by some Swede in the second period.

After that Nilses had passed out inside the arena and more or less slept his way through first period he seems to be in much better mood after the game. Time to get back to the car for a small briefing and then off to town.

Lövis together with one of the Swedish supporters that we were partying like hell together with before the games SWE-LAT and SWE-SUI.

Being a drummer and try to get the supporters into motion is a bloody work. Literally! Click the picture to see an uncensored version of the truth behind the “glamorous” work of drumming.
(If you are no the least interested in seeing fleshy fingers and drum sticks with blood on, you can always skip clicking on the picture.)

Despite bleeding fingers and an upcoming hangover Nilses is in good shape inside Matches, one of the pubs on the way to the car.

After having gotten cleaned at the car, being in town and said farewell to the people at Mausefalle it was time to get back to the car.

…but first one last kebab in Innsbruck and then chase Patrik into the car and scream at him that it was time to drive in direction Vienna.

The World Championships in Innsbruck had come to an end. It had been some insanely great days with hefty drinking and early mornings into bed. It felt like it always does when the tournament changes location, a little bit sad to leave all the people that you have met during the influence of Alcohol. But on the other hand we were now to get back to the town that we had so many crazy moments and so much fun nine years ago.
